Account Executive, Commercial - Spanish Speaking

About the Role

Fivetran is searching for a Commercial Account Executive to take full ownership of our Southern European market - covering Spain, Italy and Portugal. This is not your typical AE role. You'll be the first and only dedicated AE in the region, with the autonomy to shape strategy, define success, and lead growth from the ground up.

This is a high-risk, high-reward role for someone entrepreneurial, driven, and excited by the opportunity to build a business within a business. You'll be joining a team of top performers at a company in hypergrowth, backed by world-class investors and on the path to IPO - in one of the most exciting and fast-evolving industries: the modern data stack.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Dublin office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

What You'll Do

• Own and grow your region like a business - you're the go-to person for everything Southern Europe
• Build and close a pipeline of high-impact SaaS deals
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers across the data ecosystem
• Collaborate with channel partners to amplify reach and outcomes
• Ensure seamless onboarding and long-term success for every customer you bring on

Skills We're Looking For

• 2+ years of SaaS sales experience with a strong record of overachievement
• Proven ability to build and close net-new business in an emerging or underdeveloped territory
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Entrepreneurial spirit - this is a build-from-scratch role
• Experience with complex, solution-based sales and managing multiple stakeholders
• Strong business development instincts and proactive pipeline generation

Bonus Skills

• Confidence selling high-value SaaS contracts ($100k-$250k ARR)
• Previous experience working with partners in a data or analytics ecosystem
• Passion for customer success and the grit to grow a region into a powerhouse
• Additional languages such as Italian or Portuguese would be highly beneficial
