About the role

The Coordinator - Accounting is responsible for a specific task within a specific process and/or in scope countries. You will be responsible in providing first level of support for resolving issues. As a main requirement for this role, we are seeking a candidate who possesses at least a basic knowledge or conversational proficiency in the Spanish language.

What you will be doing

People Leadership:
  • Implement process training and attend GBS initiative trainings
  • Ensure compliance with GBS strategies, policies, rules, and regulations


Process Leadership:
  • Collaborate on process improvement projects
  • Maintain accurate Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ensure compliance with internal control standards
  • Support transitions and integrate processes into operations


Operations:
  • Meet SLAs and KPIs
  • Provide accurate operational performance reporting
  • Record and analyze data in the system
  • Perform various accounting activities including Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Fixed Assets management
  • Handle Intercompany Processes and Month End Activities
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues
  • Ensure stakeholder needs are met
  • Lead or support stakeholder meetings as needed


Ad Hoc Duties:
  • Participate in OHI Survey and Employee Engagement Activities


What you will bring

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant Finance/Accounting experience in a large corporate setting
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal policies
  • Proficiency in ERP and other accounting tools
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
  • Diligent, accurate, and accountable, with strong critical thinking skills
  • Initiative-driven, well-organized, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong collaborator, able to contribute to the development and operation of workstream
  • Good interpersonal and people management skills
  • Experience in financial process improvement initiatives preferred
  • Basic knowledge or conversational proficiency in Spanish is required.
