Lead - Accounts Receivable (Spanish) to play a pivotal role. As the primary point of contact for Accounts Receivable, you will oversee the team and drive the performance of Orica's Global Business Services workstream. What you will be doingPeople Leadership: - Develop and train workstream employees, implementing coaching and performance improvement plans.
- Drive GBS strategies.
Process Leadership: - Manage overall workstream, ensuring alignment with supervisors and appropriate workload allocation for operational and improvement tasks.
- Drive process improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate Standard Operating Procedures and ensure compliance with internal control standards.
- Manage incoming transitions to integrate processes smoothly into current operations.
Operations: - Ensure all KPIs are met.
- Provide accurate operational performance reporting, including issues/escalations, KPIs, and attendance monitoring.
- Meet timeliness targets for generating customer invoices and cash application, and respond promptly to queries.
- Achieve Collection Compliance Rating and Accuracy rating targets.
- Ensure timely reporting and no delays in month/year-end closing.
- Lead stakeholder meetings for feedback and action plans.
Ad Hoc Duties: - Act as backup for Service Delivery Manager when necessary.
What you will bring - Minimum 8 years of experience in Finance/General Accounting/Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable/Cash Management departments of large corporations, with at least 5 years in direct people management.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, practices, and internal policy.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in Spanish, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional presentation skills.
