Job DescriptionWTW's Finance function is looking for a Financial Analyst to join its Global Finance Analytics Centre of Expertise (GFA CoE) team. You will play a critical role in driving business value, partnering closely with Business Finance teams and the broader GFA CoE global team across WTW's Centres. You will work closely with Business Finance leaders in the FP&A processes - reporting, analytics, insights, forecasting, and planning - and become a trusted adviser by delivering the right insights, within agreed deadlines, and with the quality controls needed.
Primary responsibilities include the following:
- Drive financial planning process within assigned segment / business unit / regions / functions.
- Deliver financial analysis and key performance drivers to support understanding of business results.
- Deliver monthly financial performance vs. budget, forecast, and highlight risk and opportunities.
- Deliver client profitability analysis, new business, and revenue analysis to support business growth.
- Deliver salary, benefits, and other cost reporting and analysis.
- Reconcile financials and variances to resolve inquiries.
- Full understanding of the financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flow
- Deliver working capital and cash flow analysis to explain Free Cash Flow drivers.
- Review dashboards and share commentary about outputs.
- Maintain investment, cost, transformation tracking and reporting, analysis.
- Understand the planning process and assist with establishing WTW's budget / forecast.
- Perform reconciliation processes between various system and reports.
- Maintain monthly and quarterly deliverables and reviewing with Business Finance leaders including revenue analysis, month-end results and commentaries,quarterly business reviews presentations.
- Prepare and create PowerPoint presentations.
- Create financial models and analysis with decision oriented KPIs.
- Document and keep procedures and tasks up to date.
- Assess processes for improvement, process mapping, and create and maintain standard operating procedures documentations.
- Ensure smooth transition of processes, tasks from different teams by proactively addressing requirements and providing solutions.
- Meeting agreed global service standards and adherence to internal procedures to provide a globally consistent service.
- Ad-hoc and project support
- Any other additional responsibility to commensurate with existing or new process requirements.
The Finance function serves both internal and external customers: colleagues within our company, client organizations, shareholders, financial institutions, suppliers, and regulatory agencies around the world.
QualificationsRequirements- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, Outlook, Visio, etc).
- Working experience with FP&A and Business Intelligence applications - Hyperion Planning / ePBCs, Anaplan, PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx.
- Written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a global team.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
