POSITION SUMMARY:
ISK is hiring a French and Spanish Language Teacher for the 2025-2026 school Academic Year. We are an Advanced Placement school and use the ACTFL framework for our curriculums. We are currently seeking applicants who are experienced and qualified as a French and Spanish Language Teacher. This role involves working in our Language Elementary, Middle, and High School teams, as we build and improve upon our Language (French and Spanish) educational program. The selected candidate will teach French and Spanish in ES, MS, and HS classes.
The successful candidate needs to be confident in inquiry-based / project based teaching, and is seeking to continue to learn and grow as an educator and learner in our community. We are looking for someone who truly wants the school Vision and Mission to come to life with their day-to-day actions inside and outside of the classroom. This position might also involve being a homeroom advisor.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS;
A teaching qualification in Modern Languages (PGCE, Master in French as a Foreign Language, etc.) is required.
Valid teaching credential in a related field.
Experience in AP.
At least three years of teaching experience in French and Spanish.
Prior experience in an international school setting is preferred.

Curriculum resources include TCI, but teachers should be proficient in developing their own resources to meet student needs.
AERO Standards are used to ensure continuity and curriculum alignment.
After School Activities and Events:
All ISK teachers are expected to contribute to after school activities for at least two (2) quarters per year.
Teachers are expected to assist with school events and participate in other school activities regularly.
