Your Role
As an HR Operations & Payroll Specialist, you will ensure smooth and efficient HR operations and payroll processes within the organization. Your key responsibilities:
• Manage HR operations and payroll for selected markets.
• Act as HR Operations support for LEO Pharma managers and employees regarding employment matters, including payroll and time & attendance inquiries.
• Update and maintain HR systems according to global and local processes (Hire to Retire).
• Create contracts of employment, administer benefit enrollment, and calculate compensation, rewards, and bonuses for employees, manage employee leaves of absence and sickness.
• Execute three phases of Payroll Runs successfully, controlled by the global Payroll Checklist.
• Handle payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, accuracy, and deadlines.
• Daily work with ServiceNow to monitor and resolve incoming queries from employees.
• Foster good relationships and work on improving HR processes with stakeholders such as HRBPs, outsourced vendors, HRIS Team, Rewards Team, and Finance.
• Analyze, define, and submit new pay components and work schedules to the HRIS Team for implementation.
• Participate in UAT testing of new pay components, work schedules, and overall enhancements of the payroll service.
Your Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
• Demonstrate an experience in HR processes and payroll processing.
• Solid and in-depth insights into the use of HR data platforms and tools (desired 18+ months of experience).
• Proactive and independent, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Excellent use of ServiceNow HR platform.
• Ability to work as a team player in a process-driven environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Flexible and "can-do" attitude aligned with the LEO values.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
