DescriptionWe are hiring a new
International Business Developer to join our team in Europe!
As an
International Business Developer, you will fulfill a key function on Spare's Growth team - directly engaging with and developing business in Spare's target market - the public transit industry!
This role allows you to make a big impact on the future of public transportation across Europe while working in a dynamic and forward-thinking company!
This position is a remote role, based in any country in Paris, France. We are open to hiring this person as a full-time employee or independent contractor.
The salary provided is the base salary in Euros. The total remuneration for this job also involves a variable commission.
Key Responsibilities - Business development, pipeline generation, and outreach
- Identify and strategically reach out to potential prospects through various mediums.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for new leads or prospects, presenting Spare's solutions and engaging other members of the EMEA growth team as required.
- Growth support
- Follow up and nurture prospects until closure, with support from the EMEA Team, progressing from the initial pitch to the closing phase.
- Participate and plan events and trade show with the rest of the Team EMEA
- Strategy and data
- Utilize our CRM tools to monitor pipeline growth.
- Report actions and results, adjusting strategies to create ambitious lead-generating campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager in EMEA to identify growth opportunities.
- Account executive transition
- This role aims to lead you to an account executive position, therefore you'll be in charge of some of the leads that you'll be generating, and will be taking over some of our existing leads and accounts (with support from your team)
- As our activity is growing in EMEA, you'll have the possibility to quickly build a path to a key sales position in the organization
About You You have...- Previous experience in a Sales Development Representative or Business Development Representative (SDR/BDR) role or similar
- Experience with lead generation and customer outreach
- Full proficiency in English
- Full proficiency in Spanish
- Interest in working in Tech/SaaS
- Availability to travel regularly in Europe
It will be considered a bonus if:- You have worked in Tech/SaaS in the past
- You have proficiency in other languages spoken throughout EMEA (French ideally)
- You are interested in working with request for proposals (RFP)/bidding processes)
