About the team and the role: An onboarding teammate will be responsible for acquiring new businesses and merchants for eBay.es. You will be accountable for both onboarding merchants and assisting them to grow in their first months of trading.
The successful candidate will operate to a high level of autonomy, have strong communication skills to support relationships with key partners and to communicate plans and performance!
While onboarding our new sellers, the onboarding teammate will also dedicate some time to partnering with our customers to remove barriers and create loyalty to the eBay marketplace through working to understand the needs of seller businesses, taking ownership, and driving seller profitability. They also will support our most valuable customers through outbound campaigns with a view to encouraging the use of eBay services and features most suited to the customers' business, which will support growth and engagement.

Fluent in written and verbal English & Spanish is essential.
What you will accomplish:- You will interact with our top sellers providing a one-stop shop, premium service experience, and research resolutions for our members and provide proper follow up as needed.
- Help merchants with the technical aspects of integrating their existing stock management systems to eBay and coach new merchants that have been onboarded in best practices for eBay selling, in order to help them grow in their first year
- Apply judgement when deviating from a standard routine, identify patterns from partial or conflicting information to identify the correct resolution, and act with empowerment when appropriate.
- Use existing leads lists of potential new eBay merchants to priorities who to select as sales targets
- Critically analyze, identify & proactively feedback data quality of lead lists to BU and partner with BU lead to develop annual strategy and quarterly commercial plan
- Deliver on core metrics including, but not limited to, productivity, GMV increase, success rate and effectiveness
What you will bring:- Experienced in supporting customers over the phone in a sales environment. You will need to be able to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions, with a genuine curiosity for people and businesses
- Experienced in analyzing data and drawing actionable insights from these
- Outstanding in your negotiation skills to source critical inventory and establish joint commercial targets
- A Confident self-starter, driven, motivated, can-do mind set with the ability to navigate change
- Experienced in high level customer service / Sales support or up-selling preferably with a strong experience working ins a client relationship management environment. Category or vertical specific experience a distinct
- Availability to travel to events in and outside of Ireland to represent eBay and acquire new potential sellers
