Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons for students in line with the school's curriculum guidelines.
  • Ensure students' progress through effective lesson planning, assessment, and feedback.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for Spanish language learning.
  • Collaborate with other Spanish teachers and colleagues to share best practices and resources.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress and attendance.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and stakeholders to discuss students' progress, development, and any concerns.
  • Participate in school-wide events and activities, such as parent-teacher conferences and staff meetings.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience teaching Spanish to students in primary or secondary levels.
  • Strong knowledge of the Spanish language and culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid work permit or visa to work in the UK.
