Spanish teacher- Impressive independent school in Westminster- September start

We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Spanish teacher to join an impressive independent school in Westminster. Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons that cater to the needs and abilities of students
  • Assess and evaluate the progress of students regularly, providing constructive feedback and guidance
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes active participation and student engagement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student performance and any areas for improvement
  • Participate in departmental meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required

Requirements
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience teaching Spanish to primary or secondary students
  • Excellent knowledge of the Spanish language and culture
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and adapting teaching methods accordingly
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic school environment
