Spanish teacher- Lovely school in Brent- April start

In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to share your expertise and passion for the Spanish language with bright and enthusiastic students at a lovely school in Brent. As the dedicated Spanish teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons tailored to secondary students. Responsibilities

Plan and deliver Spanish lessons that are age-appropriate and aligned with the curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement
Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to drive their learning
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to cater to students with diverse learning needs
Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, achievements, and behaviour
Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement cross-curricular activities and projects
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on students' progress and address any concerns

Requirements

Hold a relevant teaching qualification and have qualified teacher status (QTS)
Possess a strong knowledge of the Spanish language, culture, and literature
Experience teaching Spanish to primary or secondary students is preferred
Demonstrated ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that cater to students' individual needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
Strong organizational skills to manage lesson planning, assessments, and administrative tasks effectively
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about current educational best practices

Salary

Paid to scale on MPS / UPS
