Spanish teacher- Stunning school in Haringey- September start

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Spanish teacher to join a stunning school in Haringey, starting in September. Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Spanish language lessons to primary or secondary school students in accordance with the school's curriculum and guidelines.
  • Engage students in active learning experiences, maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their linguistic development.
  • Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to cater to the individual learning needs and abilities of diverse students.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to develop and implement cohesive lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessment strategies.
  • Foster a deep appreciation and understanding of the Spanish language and culture through engaging activities and discussions.
  • Establish and maintain open and regular communication with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Spanish teacher, preferably in a primary or secondary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Spanish language, culture, and literature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
  • A good understanding of relevant teaching techniques and methodologies.
  • Experience in planning and delivering well-structured lessons that meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and progress.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, preferably with a degree in Spanish or a related field.
