Spanish Teacher & Subject Lead- Prestigious girls school in Westminster

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Spanish Teacher & Subject Lead for a prestigious girls school in Westminster. As the Spanish Teacher & Subject Lead, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the education and development of students. This role requires someone with a passion for teaching Spanish and the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive Spanish lessons, as well as leading and coordinating the Spanish curriculum within the school.

In addition to teaching responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the overall development and improvement of the Spanish department. This may include developing and implementing effective teaching strategies, creating and evaluating assessments, and providing guidance to other Spanish teachers within the school.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Spanish lessons to students
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Coordinate and lead the Spanish curriculum within the school
  • Provide guidance and support to other Spanish teachers
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and events
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Spanish or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience in teaching Spanish to secondary students
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish culture and language
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with curriculum standards and assessment methods
