Overview of the role:
We are looking for a talented and creative Spanish and Portuguese Content Writer with a strong focus on customer marketing and engaging marketing acquisition content. This individual will be responsible for creating compelling, engaging, and culturally relevant content tailored for our ES and PT speaking audience.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing poker and casino content, deep knowledge of the customer journeys and the ability to produce content that resonates with customers at different life stages. This role requires a blend of content writing skills, marketing knowledge, customer marketing knowledge and an understanding of customer behaviour.

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

What you'll do:

• Content Creation: Develop high-quality, customer-centric written content in Spanish and Portuguese for various customer marketing channels, including email, push, banners, websites, landing pages, product and more. The content should be aligned with customer needs, pain points, and interests.
• Customer Journey Mapping: Support in the creation of targeted content that speaks to customers at different stages of their journey, from awareness through to online play and retention.

• Brand Voice & Tone: Maintain consistency in messaging, ensuring that all content reflects the PokerStars Spain Tone of Voice adapting to the customer segment and more recent insights available to you . Own the Spanish Style Guide, collaborating with other teams to ensure this is embedded across all Spanish Content.

• Collaboration with Marketing Teams: Work closely with the Spanish Marketing Team, Customer Marketing Squad, Brand Team and Localisation Team alongside wider organisation teams (e.g., Generosity, Insights etc.) to develop content plans and ensure alignment with overall marketing activities and business goals

• SEO and Optimization: You will be asked to contribute to the creation of SEO content for Spain, following best practices to improve content visibility in search engines and ensure high engagement across digital platforms. You will be required to optimize content for specific customer segments, leveraging analytics to understand performance.

• Content Localization: Ensure that content resonates with the regional diversity of Spanish and Portuguese speaking audiences and with the audience segmentation you are communicating to

• Customer Feedback Integration: Utilize customer insights, feedback, and data analytics to continuously refine content and make data-driven decisions to improve customer engagement and retention

• Campaign Support: Assist in the development of customer-centric customer marketing campaigns, providing relevant content for promotions, new products and seasonal marketing initiatives.

• Performance Reporting: Track the success of communications, monitor key metrics, and adjust plans based on performance data.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience in content writing, with a focus on customer marketing. Experience in writing poker and/or casino content hugely beneficial
• Experience writing in Spanish for various audiences, particularly in the context of customer marketing and customer engagement.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of content management systems (CMS), ContentStack, Adobe, Optimove and workflow tool Jira a huge plus
• Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese with exceptional writing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong understanding of customer personas, buyer behaviors, and the customer journey.
• Creative, with the ability to develop fresh and engaging content that resonates with target audiences.
• Attention to detail, with a focus on producing error-free and high-quality content.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
